Dawn Bethea
34 years old
5ft 2in.
Green eyes
long straight brown hair
about 93 lbs.
Dawn dissapeared on April 26, 2001 from a bar on Birmingham Highway in Montgomery, Alabama called the Western Club.
Police say witnesses said they last saw her in the parking lot with a white male, she was wearing overalls that came above the ankles and below the knees. Shirt unknown.
Dawn has very bad feet and has to wear houseshoes 99 % of the time. She has 2 homemade tatoos, one that says I with a picture of a heart, then Rex on her ankle, and the other one is her name in red on her other ankle. She has a really bad scar on her face where a cyst was taken off and has achne scares.
The last known people seen with her are: Charles Hokkins from Pratville, Alabama and Nina Gene Strught.
Dawn has 3 children who need our help. She has a 17 year old daughter who is expecting Dawn's first grandchild, and needs her mom now more than ever. Her mothers disappearance has made this a difficult Pregnancy.
Then there are 2 boys ages 15 almost 16 and 14. As we all know life is hard on children this age without having your mother missing. These 3 children are asking that anybody with any information or any leads please come forward or call the secret line, as they need some sort of closure at least. Someone Somewhere had to see something as we are begging you to come forward.
The family has given their account of what happened up to her disappearance Dawns daughter talked to her around 6:00 P.M. on April 26th. She said everything sounded normal as if nothing was wrong. Her nephew came by and took her to a friends house name Nina and dropped her off to stay a few days with her. Dawn would get away for a few days now and then, but her family (sons, husband and daughter) always new were she was and how to get in touch with her. This was April the 26th.
There were 2 other ladies reportedly staying with Nina and my sister, one named Emily and one named Jolene. Dawn wasn't seen again by family members until Saturday April 28th. Our nephew saw her and Nina walking down the street, wanting a ride to the Western Club, so he gave them a ride. This child is blaming himself so bad because he feels if he had not given them a ride, his Aunt wouldn't be missing. And that is the last time WE can account for her were abouts.
