This is a case a friend of mine worked, even aiding in the search for her.
It is a troubling case for a couple of reasons. The main one being a swampy area close by where her body could have been dumped with little or no possibility of discovery.
Two, local rumor tends to blame a police officer/lover for her dissappearance. It appears there is enough circumstantial evidence for this to be possible.
Now that I reside relatively close to this area I will be doing an on-site check myself as soon as the weather clears enough to allow it.
