In gathering cases appropriate for posting here, i can not help but question to what degree rewards actually work.
For example, Why would anyone that would not come forward without being paid, be coerced by an offered reward that will not be paid unless the perps are arrested and convicted? How inticing can that be considering the state of America justice?
Money used by an investigator to open lips has worked for private investigators for years, but can rewards with stipulations work?
Personally, when I conduct the tenatively planned cross country search in the spring I will gladly offer whatever sums are available to me to help solve these missing persons cases.
I feel money for rewards is wasted unless used this way.
