Volunteers and officials focused their search Monday morning on the EE Wilson Wildlife Area about 8 miles north of Corvallis.
While no direct tip led them there, investigators say that if someone was trying to hide something, the remote area right off Highway 99W would be a good spot.
The Benton County Mounted Posse is assisting, offering a different perspective.
"Kind of a unique resources. They can spot things that humans can't. They are real sensitive to things that they find in the field, particularly people. They have a higher perspective -- the riders can see a little broader area," Peggy Peirson of Benton County Search and Rescue told KOIN 6 News.
Investigators say that they have four persons of interest in Wilberger's disappearance, but they still have no solid tips, leads or suspects.
